چکیده
We 1 present a method for controlling autonomous agents in un-predictible environments. For this, the agent's architecture of Hayes-Roth et al. (1995) is extended regarding spontaneous goal generation and goal selection. This method seems psychologically plausible under the term motivation. In addition, its implementation exhibits attractive real-time characteristics, relating environment, agent's control and agent's performances. An application involves a mobile robot, actually a complete agent controlled by this method, that performs various tasks to assist in ooce work.
